Willem Vriesendorp

is founder of #SustainablePublicAffairs. Previously, Willem was a partner at FIPRA where he led the Competition and the Environment practices and before that Willem worked as a qualified lawyer at Allen & Overy. Willem is selected as one of the best Public Affairs consultants in Brussels.

Ellen Hof

is COO of #SustainablePublicAffairs and an expert in agri-food policy, supported by her scientific background in bioengineering. Previously Ellen was COO of the Brussels’ office of Hill+Knowlton Strategies and she worked at EuropaBio, the European association for biotech companies, before that.

Camille Vachet

is a qualified competition lawyer, trained in DG COMP and in several law firms. Camille was consultant in two European public affairs firms where she specialised in digital economy, working with Snapchat, Ubisoft, etc. that she assisted in developing communication and public relations strategies.

Leon De Graaf

worked at BusinessEurope where he was responsible for getting the entire European industry behind the ambition of climate neutrality in early 2019. He was also the main coordinator on circular economy, carbon border adjustments and led the organisation’s annual delegations to the UN climate negotiations (COP22-25).

Alex Braley

is an EU expert passionate about sustainability with experience of working in government and with the private sector. He previously held roles in the European Commission, the UK government (Mission to the EU, Foreign Office, Prime Minister’s Office) and the public affairs firm FIPRA International advising on environmental policy as well as on innovation, sustainable finance and EU public funding support.

Carlijn Torenbeek

has a background in history and international relations and is passionate about the political and international aspects of climate policies. She worked on the climate and energy files during an internship at a Dutch Embassy and joined us after a traineeship at the Cabinet of European Commissioner Timmermans, responsible for the Green Deal.

Louisa Kelly

is an EU climate policy and European Green Deal enthusiast. She joined #SustainablePublicAffairs from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action, where she spent five years working on legal and inter-institutional affairs and communication. She specialises in the decarbonisation of transport and the sustainable finance agenda.

Oscar Magnen

has a background in energy engineering and international relations. He is passionate about the technical aspect of energy related files. Before joining us,he worked as a trainee in the office of Pascal Canfin, chair of the Environment Committee at the European Parliament, on the texts of the “Fit for 2030” package.

Nicolas Remilien

is a French national passionate about biodiversity and environmental protection. After working in the renewable energy sector in France, he joined the European Parliament ENVI Committee Secretariat, where he worked on the Fit for 55 package. Pauline Juricic​

is a convinced Europhile passionate about the current EU green transition. She joins #SustainablePublicAffairs after 4 years at Hill+Knowlton Strategies where she gained extensive experience on sustainability and climate policy issues focusing mainly on the agriculture & food sector. Before that, Pauline coordinated UNESDA’s (European Soft Drinks Association) public affairs activities in the areas of health, nutrition, and circular economy.​

Elia Jareño Cuesta

has a background in European law and politics, and is passionate about the intersection between sustainability policies and human rights. Before joining us, she gained experience in the public affairs landscape in Brussels, working on numerous environmental, agricultural and sustainable finance files. In this context, Elia has been supporting the European Plant-based Foods Association (ENSA) with their EU-affairs activities.

Saar Van Ruyskensvelde

has a background in green criminology and international politics. She gained experience in the private and public sector by conducting internships at a public affairs consultancy and with the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the European Union. This allowed her to closely follow Council negotiation on key FF55-files, in the Working Parties on transport.

Antoine Pauti

Is a French national passionate about environmental protection and the preservation of natural resources and biodiversity, alongside the necessary transformation of our economies and societies. Antoine has a background in EU Law, History and Politics. Previously, Antoine has been working for French public institutions and represented the organic sector in Brussels on issues linked to agriculture and circular economy.

Norika Salih

Has a background in European Law. She joined #SustainablePublicAffairs from the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, where she worked on a broad range of European Green Deal files during the past four years. She specialises in the sustainable finance agenda.

Henry Kaeding

Is a political scientist and economist by training. As a German national, his interests include EU climate policy, cleantech, and the sustainable built environment. Previously, Henry organised events and coordinated research studies for the European Parliament at a Brussels-based research network and worked for an international business development agency at the Belgian Consulate in New York, the Central Bank of the Federal Republic of Germany, and a Member of the European Parliament.
